Abstract (EN)
The findings obtained through the studies carried out in the light of the Uşak Protohistoric Period Surveys Project (UPDAP) allow us to obtain important data about the prehistoric period of the region. The subject of this study is the Early Bronze Age bowls found in the studies. When we look at the Western Anatolian region, we see that there are different cultures belonging to the EBA. The cultures that show similar characteristics and form a unity in the region are separated from each other due to local differences. The cultural regions, which were first seen in the Late Chalcolithic Age in Western Anatolia, continued to exist by changing and developing in the EBA. In EBA III, we see that the local groups began to disappear and the pottery gradually became integrated. However, while the pottery of the previous period continued its characteristics, it started to appear in new forms. It is thought that the biggest factor for this is the potter's wheel, which has been used in pottery technology since the end of EBA II.
