Using financial ratios to support management in financial decisions making‏‏

The purpose of the thesis is to use financial ratios to help high management in decisions strategic making, where the financial management was reviewed in general. The financial analysis and the financial ratios were all reviewed in an academic way, and in practice the data was used and analyzed and 4 commercial banks in Iraq were chosen and studied from 2015 to 2020 through the use of financial data such as assets, liabilities, profits, investments, and others. Many financial ratios have been applied that help in analyzing the bank's financial position through the liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, activity and working capital efficiency in banks practiced by banks, and 10 financial ratios equations were used. The results showed the variance that shows the difference in the performance of each bank with this displayed on the graph for each ratio equation and an explanation of the reasons for the difference in the performance of each bank and after displaying the results and obtaining the result of the standard deviation and coefficient of variation for all financial ratios of banks and for all years of study. The study aims to measure the impact of applying ratios of financial liquidity and profitability in banks to make strategic decisions that help management in drawing a coefficient of variation for the future to apply them and obtain the best application of the administrative decision by measuring bank liquidity ratios during the years of study and measuring changes in financial ratios in light of the variables of financial ratios. On the work of financial banks, the study contains sample, its relationship to improving banking activity, and knowing the importance of each study variable (financial ratios - strategic decisions).
