Comparison of gifted and normal students learning attitudes toward retarded

The aim of this study was to compare the attitudes of secondary school students who excel in learning and have normal intelligence. To this end, studying in schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education in the province of Istanbul 101 and 100 which have superior intelligence work in research design mixed with 201 secondary school students was conducted with normal intelligence. Kara(2010) as a data collection tool "Developed by Attitudes on Learning" is used. Attitudes on Learning consists of 40 questions and has a five-point Likert-type response system.Data collection tool in this study, the "Attitude Scale Towards Learning", also there is a section of the personal information. Students first and last name, gender, and class in order to learn their level of personal information in the form has been used. Kara(2010) developed an attitude scale towards learning three-dimensional. The scale is located on this sub-dimension; the nature of learning, learning expectations, learning about your concerns, and openness to learning is shaped. The scale consists of 40 items and five point likert type scale. Never are answered with completely disagree with agree between evaluations. The reliability of the scale in terms of cronbach's Alpha were calculated. Four Designated sub-dimension scale were obtained as a result of the analysis in item 40. The internal consistency coefficient of this scale ".73", the test-retest correlation coefficient ".87" are expressed as. These values scale to measure attitudes toward the learning of all students as proof that you can make a valid measurement has been accepted. This research evaluated attitudes towards the learning of gifted students and educators, better recognition by those engaged in research on this topic; specific measures in relation to the education of these students by comparing students attitudes towards learning in retarded and normal differences that may occur, it is intended to be laid out. Research special education gifted students should be given detailed information about the characteristics of that against them for acquiring the important for the determination of. Because gifted students the standard academic curriculum with a training team will be able to cause problems. Today, the most important capital knowledge capital, human capital is important in this sense because it is based on work. As a result, experienced more anxiety towards the learning of secondary school students of normal Intelligence, they were both more open to learning about gifted students and learning and it was found that expectations were higher. Also superior with normal intelligence and attitudes toward the learning of all students according to grade level and gender were found which reveal a difference.
