Drug trafficking is an organized crime that is common in our country as well as in the whole world. Turkey continues to increase in recent years are related to the fight against drug trafficking. In this thesis, it is aimed to examine the measures taken in combating smugglers and new methods used in drug smuggling in the example of Gaziantep province. Thus, it is thought that other crimes related to drug trafficking can be prevented. The research data were carried out using the literature review and case study method. Studies on drugs in our country and in the world have been examined. In addition, interviews were held with security forces fighting against smuggling in the city of Gaziantep and data were collected. In the first part of the thesis Gaziantep on special measures taken against drug trafficking in Turkey, treatment against drug addiction and drug trafficking and in the context of decisions and approach taken for the prevention of addiction was put forward two hypotheses.The first of the hypotheses is related to the application of different techniques and tactics with drug abuse in Gaziantep, and the second is about the increase in the fight against drug trafficking in Gaziantep province in recent years. The results of the study supported the two hypothesis results put forward for the thesis. The measures taken for drug smuggling in the province of Gaziantep are high-level and successful. For this reason, Turkey is one of Europe most serious drug trafficking and related regional and country struggling senior level. In addition, drug addiction prevention and treatment centers prevent individuals from drug trafficking and ensure their reintegration into society. Keywords: Smuggling, drug trafficking, Gaziantep
