Abstract (EN)
By this research, with the beginning of face-to-face education in schools after distance education, in order to determine the negative effects of the COVİD-19 pandemic and the distance education process on students and to reveal possible solutions, physical education and sports teachers' views on student behavior after distance education and possible solutions. aimed to present its recommendations.The research was carried out within the scope of qualitative research and was organized within the framework of the phenomenology pattern, one of the qualitative research designs. Maximum variation sampling technique, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was used to determine the study group in the research. The study group of the research consists of 20 physical education and sports teachers working in secondary education institutions affiliated to Amasya Provincial Directorate of National Education.The research data were collected by the researchers using a semi-structured interview form, consisting of 23 items under 5 main titles and 18 sub-titles, and open-ended questions. The collected data were analyzed from a descriptive point of view. As a result of the research, the participants were following the concept of behavior respectively; action, transferring learned knowledge to life, personal characteristic reaction, and the role that individuals have taken. When the findings for the second question of the research were analyzed, the participants showed the behavioral changes in the students; expressed under the themes titled physical, cognitive, sociological, psychological, behavioral and teacher. Accordingly, the participants changed the behavior of the students; increase in weight gain, increase in inactivity, decrease in academic achievement, difficulty in designing skills mentally, increase in individualization, lack of empathy and increase in selfishness, consumption of ready-made and fatty foods, skipping meals, increase in abusive and slang speech, increase in technology addiction, loss of motivation, energy and expressed as a waste of time. Possible solutions for the behavioral changes of the participants under the same themes; school sports activities should be increased, every child should be directed to a sport branch, complex games should be played, different teaching methods should be used, team sports should be directed, in-school tournaments should be organized, students should be closely acquainted, the healing power of sports should be benefited, nutrition education should be given, meals should not be skipped, help in setting goals. should be done, awareness of the family should be established, dialogue should be established and individual interviews should be done. As a result, during the distance education period in the COVİD-19 pandemic period, students lead a sedentary life at home for a long time and spend most of the day at the computer, examples of negative behavior in social media, fear of getting sick and losing their relatives, malnutrition in their physical, sociological, psychological, cognitively and behaviorally caused them to develop some negative behaviors. When face-to-face education started, these negative behaviors started to cause difficulties for them to adapt to the school environment and at the same time to create problems for students, teachers, parents, and the realization of education and training goals. In order for these negative behaviors in students to change for the better, it is recommended to benefit from the healing and rehabilitative properties of physical education and sports activities as much as possible, to guide students, to establish dialogue, to provide training on the beneficial use of technology, and to increase cooperation between teachers and school-family.
