Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study was to determine what type of changes Arduino activities performed in distance education caused on 5th-grade students' problem-solving skills and to determine student views on the process. The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2020-2021, with 25 boys and 12 girls in 5th grade studying at an imam hatip secondary school in Muş Bulanik, through online education on the EBA live course platform for 8 weeks. The qualitative method of the research was the case study method. In the qualitative process of the research, the changes in the student's problem-solving skills were tried to be determined based on student views on the process and student behaviors during the activities. Data were collected by using data collection tools including problem-solving skills rubric, observation form, interview questions, and research diary as data collection tools. Descriptive analysis and content analysis were used in data analysis. Content analysis was used for the observation form and interview questions, and descriptive analysis approach was used for the problem-solving skills rubric, Themes were constructed using the data obtained using content analysis and descriptive analysis. Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis of themes.
