Özet (EN)

Starting with a Bakhtinian approach from polyphony in daily life in Georges Perec's "Life User's Manual", this thesis explores both how this literary work makes use of this literary aspect and, as it offers a suitable ground for applying Bakhtin's theses, how they can be used on a contemporary novel. To analyze, benefiting of the structuralist and narratological literary theory that originated from formalist literary criticism and linguistics criticized by Bakhtin and his friends, this thesis brings these approaches face to face with Bakhtinian dialogism. The thesis shows how, as Kristeva points out, beyond the formalists' concept of "literariness", this work of Perec can be spoken of by Bakhtinian concepts, and which results it gives especially with discoveries as carnivalesque and chronotope that this theoretician used in his work "Rabelais". The thesis achieves itself with the conclusion that the novel offers a structure expressed with the figure of "synecdoche" borrowed from the linguistics, and with the idea that this conclusion could lead to a different poetics by making use of Bakhtinian theories.
