The thesis called `Çetin Tunca an eye in the Viewfinder? puts forward the life of the photo director, Çetin Tunca who worked over hundred films in the Turkish Cinema.The aim of this thesis is to illuminate how he expressed either visual or by writing the impressions from the people or situations, and how he met with the difficulties in the Turkish Cinema or the novelties he brought out through his career over the past fifty years.The first part of the thesis tells about the concept of the photo director, and the second part is allocated to the documentary film production of the biography of Çetin Tunca.Finally, the appendix and the epilogue parts take place related to the film `Çetin Tunca an eye in the Viewfinder.?Key words: Viewfinder, Biographical Documentary
