Abstract (EN)

In this study, biological particles in the atmosphere of Kırşehir province of 2015-2016 were collected with Burkard Volumetric Air Sampler Device, the collected samples were made into preparations and the particles were diagnosed. The diagnoses made have been observed to be predominantly fungal spores, pollen and other biological particles (fungal hypha, Pteridophta spore, plant hairs, insects, insect extremities, moth scale, diatom etc.) in the atmosphere. The quantities of fungal spores, pollen and other biological particles in the atmosphere of Kırşehir province were calculated, calendars of fungal spores and pollen were prepared. Microphotographs of dominant fungal spores, pollen and other biological particles were taken and identified. In 2015, a total of 26033 pollen from 27 different taxa including 19 trees, Poaceae, 7 other herbaceous taxa, 128291 spores belonging to 39 different fungal taxa and 4674 other biological particles were determined. In 2016, a total of 30671 pollen from 28 different taxa including 20 trees, Poaceae, 7 other herbaceous taxa, 147726 spores belonging to 39 different fungal taxa and 5262 other biological particles were identified. It has been determined that the most intense period of biological particles in the atmosphere is May, June and July. The biological particle data obtained were subjected to Spearman Correlation Test with meteorological parameters and the results were analyzed.
