The analysis of students behaviour with web mining application in web based education

This thesis concern about web based distance learning. In recent years web based distance learning have used a lot of educational system. This thesis concern development of web based distance learning with support of web mining methods. Web based education systems are running with usual structure content system. But, however one of the most important deficiency in the world is behavior of the students in web platform can not analyzed. For this reason research is formed with five main sections.First section mention about development of web based distance learning systems within support of recent technological development. Also mention some problems in web based education systems.In relevant literature section generally mention about distance learning and it?s development process. This section includes the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning also include information from World?s and Turkey?s distance learning systems. In this section explains web based distance learning systems which have the most distribute using area in distance learning systems. This section explains web based distance learning general characteristics, using materials, standards, advantages and disadvantages of web based distance learning systems also includes information from World?s and Turkey?s distance learning systems. In addition mention about aim of data mining methods and mention about using area of data mining and section give information about data mining programs and data mining processes. This section, give information about web mining systems which is the pre-using area of data mining methods. In this section mention about six main points these are;Classifying of web miningUsing areas of web miningTechniques of web miningUsing equipment of web miningLog documents and characteristics of web miningProcess of web miningThe related literature section lately concern about using of web mining systems in web based distance learning systems and using area of data mining in education systems.In the third section there is a modeling about method of the research. In the fourth section there are some comments and findings had been expressed. In this part there is a result of web based distance learning which is using in that thesis also find student and system profiles with analyzing of datas. Furthermore, with web based supported platform we compare traditional education systems based academical success. With help of these datas there are some offers to editing system and to get ready system for next step.In the last section some offers and discussions about result of the research with related to relative studies in literature section. Finally we determined web based educational systems are distribute more effective results according to traditional education systems.
