Seasons in XV. century classical Turkish poetry

In our thesis study titled ''Seasons in XV. Century Classical Turkish Poetry'', the reflections of the seasons and the elements forming the seasons are discussed by looking at certain poets that have lived in that century. Human beings have never been separated from society, from nature and time, and they can not be expected to be separated from them.At this point, the poets were naturally influenced by the seasons that make their presence felt as time at any moment of human beings, and they reflected this in their poems. The purpose of our thesis is to present these reflections as a whole at this point on behalf of XV. Century. Our thesis begins with a brief discussion of the historical process of the XV. Century Ottoman territory. Subsequently, the concepts of time and seasons are discussed. Then, our thesis was completed by examining the couplets obtained by screening Ottoman poetry under the titles of spring, nawruz, nevbahâr (spring), autumn, summer, and winter. With this study, XV. Century period of Classical Turkish Poetry, which is not disconnected from society despite being in classical molds and which is a reflection of the accumulation of imagination and intelligence, was offered an insight into in terms of seasons.
