A study of East Turkestan poets, who had Arabic literary works since the fall of Yaqub Beg, and a collection of poems "Sabqul-Mujalli" written by one of the poets Hussain Khan Tajalli

Every Islamic communities, including the Uyghurs certainly have some share of Arabic literature, including Arabic poetry. The Uyghurs have embraced the religion of Islam more than thousand years ago, and possessed undeniable, rich Arabic literature sources in their underneath. This is because Muslims receive and learn Islamic knowledge mostly in Arabic, in the form of prose or poetry. The Arabic poems can be divided into three main category: purely religious poems, purely literary poems and their mixture. Until the fall of Yaqub Beg state, the poets from Eastern Turkestan had been used to share all three types of the Arabic poems. Intention of this scientific research is to unveil the forgotten Uyghurs, their historical civilization, their scientific culture, the academic methods, their political conditions and scientific environments. Furthermore it is also purposed to unveil the faces of the Uyghur poets and their effects on the Arabic literature, which have been disregarded by researchers and scholars for ages. The researcher would like to open a new window to explore the literature works, which hidden under the darkness of politics, couldn't be printed until now, and deserve to be studied. The researcher also intends to study personal life and scientific contribution of the Uyghur poet _ Hussein Khan Tejelli using relative Uyghur books as a reference. Next he investigates context and structure of the poet collection under the title of "Sabqul Mujalli" written by Tejelli. He is one of the forefront poets of Eastern Turkestan, and pioneer of Arabic, Persian and Uyghur poetry. He is a great poet of literary culture and linguistic treasury, and his poems have many novel features, such as well organized structures, coherent phrases, harmonious weights,rich vocabulary, deep meanings, charming configuration, flowing delicacy, sweetness, and beauty. The researcher also provides the original version and digital-based modern version of "Sabqul Mujalli" side by side within vocabulary explanation in the end of his thesis to help anyone would like to use as a comparative reference for his/her study. It is expected that this thesis will be a primary Arabic reference for those who aims to investigate about Uyghur poets contributed to Arabic literature and literary in Eastern Turkestan, and it will be a driving force for the Divan of "Sabqul Mujalli" to get appreciation and a monumental impact amongst the Arabic literacy.
