Abstract (EN)

The product systems, which are adopted by establishments, effecting all the operation of organizations. Even though the products have same features and amounts, the time and fertility between establishments are changing depending on their systems. Traditional systems of products are useless, and with their unpunctual mechanism, they contain a lot of waste. However, lean production systems are born as a product of the pursuit for useless processes that traditional manufacting includes. Lean is an entirety. The simplicity of the lean production system is conflicting with the way of traditional accounting and costing. Because of this reason, approachment of lean develops in the accounting just like all the other organizations. The companies which are applying lean production can easily track the costs which occur during value flows by the informations that were achieved thanks to the lean accounting that does not include complicated processes and can be easily understood by everyone. The value flow costs contain every kind of costs that profit production and, by the informations it produced, it helps companies to watch their performances and creating value stream income statement. In this thesis study, datas are achieved by examining the production steps of a traditional production company, the time spent through production, and how it calculated and tracked the costs that occur as a result of the traditional accounting system it pursues. Also, by adopting cost information which were achieved through accounting according to the value flow costing procedure which was recommended by the lean accounting system, comparisons were made between traditional costing and lean costing.
