Abstract (EN)
The main aim of this study is to examine the impact of the artificial intelligence-based EBA ADES (Academic Support System) on students' academic achievements. EBA ADES is a platform that aims to provide personalized learning experiences to students through features such as artificial intelligence-based recommendation systems and automatic test evaluation. The study employs a pre-test-post-test control group quasi-experimental design, which is a quantitative research method. The accessible population of the research consists of 11th-grade students studying in Mersin during the 2022-2023 academic year. The study group is composed of a total of 65 students attending a Anatolian high school in the Akdeniz district. The study group consists of 33 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group. The dependent variable of the research, which is academic achievement, is measured through the Trigonometry Achievement Test (TAT). Both groups were administered pre-tests and post-tests. The quantitative data obtained throughout the research were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 software package. The analysis of the data revealed that there was no significant difference between the pre-test results of the experimental and control group students in terms of academic achievement. However, when comparing the post-test results of the academic achievement for the experimental and control groups, significant differences were observed in favor of the experimental group. Keywords: Artificial intelligence (AI), Education Informatics Network (EBA) Academic support system, academic success.
