Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to put forth the antecedents that affect constructive deviance behaviors. The study, in which the mixed research method was adopted, was carried out through a two-stage analysis method. In the first stage, a model was put forward with qualitative data and in the second stage the validity of the model was tested with quantitative data. The first stage of the study has been the qualitative research dimension. Within the framework of qualitative research, data were obtained from semi-structured interview form formed by the researcher from a total of 9 employees in five-star hotels in Antalya. With the obtained data, a structural model was developed which expresses the antecedents of constructive deviance behaviors. In the model, the factors affecting constructive deviance behaviors are composed of two dimensions as individual and organizational. Among the individual factors, five factor personality and locus of control, while organizational factors include perceived organizational support and organizational trust. The second stage of the study has been the quantitative research dimension. In the quantitative research dimension, the validity of the model developed through qualitative research was tested. In this context, data were collected from a total of 403 employees in five-star hotels in Antalya. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to test the model. According to the findings obtained by path analysis, the factors affecting constructive deviance behaviors were locus of control, perceived organizational support and organizational trust.
