Structured finance and an investigation on structured financial products

By removing the borders, trade have become globalized and the volume of trade has increased. This situation caused in revival at financial markets. This revival results in more participants, different expectations, different risk appetite and insufficiency of the existing products in financial markets. This situation forced the financial products to be developed and diversified. In this study structured financial products, which are developed against the insufficiency in financial markets, credit derivatives (CDS, CLN, TRS, CSO) and securitization (ABS, CDO) are handled. For this purpose the products are handled in general at first section, in much more detailed form at second section. At the third and the last section, a structured financial product is developed with the aim to clarify the subject.
