The effects of beneficial bacteria applications on yield and quality in Agaricus bisporus cultivation

Abstract (EN)
In this Master's Thesis Research, carried out in a production room located in Akdeniz University, Faculty of Agriculture Research and Application Land, two different commercial microbial fertilizers named BM-MegaFlu and SS-Super Root with different bacterial contents were applied to compost and cover soil and their effects on yield and quality were investigated. Mycelium of Triple X variety belonging to A.bisporus were obtained as sown in compost. The research was carried out in 4 repetitions according to the randomized plot design. The research had the following applications. These applications: 1% solution application to compost (BM-1, SR-1), 2% solution application to compost (BM-2, SR-2), 1% solution application at the cover soil stage (BM-3, SR- 3), 2% solution application in the cover soil stage (BM-4, SR-4), 1% solution application in the cover soil and harrowing stage (BM-5, SR-5), 2% solution in the cover soil and harrowing stage 1% solution application (BM-6, SR-6), 1% solution application in the compost and cover soil stage (BM-7, SR-7), 2% solution application in the compost and cover soil stage (BM-8 , SR-8) and Traditional farming (Control). In the mushroom cultivation earliness in mycelial pre-development and pin formation, buttom diameter, stem diameter, stem length, Total Soluble Solid in mushroom juices, pH measurement, earliness in yield, yield, productivity and average mushroom weight were investigated. Among the applications, it was observed that SR2, SR4, BM4 and BM6 applications gave better results in terms of micelle pre-development period and pin formation. The highest values of the measurements made on mushrooms were determined in Control in cap diameter, BM8 and SR5 in stem diameter, BM2 in stem length. When the applications were compared in terms of the total soluble solid, the best result was obtained from BM8. The pH value measured in the mushroom waters was determined as the highest in BM3. The highest values in terms of early yield were found in BM2 application. While the highest first class yield was obtained from BM6, the lowest first class yield was determined in BM8. The second class yield value was found to be the highest in the Control application. When the total yield values were compared, the highest figure was found in BM6, while the lowest total yield value was obtained from BM8. When the productivity rates are compared, the highest productivity rate was obtained from BM6 application with 22.58%. The productivity rate in the control application was determined as 18.96%. Average weight of first class mushrooms was found to be highest in BM8, average weight of second class mushrooms was highest in Control, and the average mushroom weight relative to total yield was highest in BM8.
