Abstract (EN)
In today's word science and technology is developing every day. To follow these developments, the need and the importance of scientific knowledge is increasing day by day so we need people who think, consider openly, question in thought, be able to analyse causally the events and consequences, criticize, produce solutions and have high awareness. Science education, which plays an important role in acquiring all these high level mental skills, has an important place in our education system. In this context it is aimed to educate individuals who are appropriate to the age by making changes in teaching programmes day by day. The study investigated the effectiveness of these materials by developing student and teacher guide materials suitable for the research inquiry approach of electrical vehicles unıt in our life science curriculum of 3rd grade. In this research action research method was used. The sample of the study consists of 17 students who are studying in the third grade in a public school in the municipal district of Artvin. As data collection tools, semi structured interviews, reflective logs and observation were used. In the analysis of the qualitative data obtained without working, descriptive and content analysis was used. It was determined that the activities developed at the end of the study contributed to the improvement of the students' scientific process skills, the positive effect on the science lesson, the improvement of the research and inquiry skills and the improvement of the professional knowledge experience and the positive effect on the research inquiry. The study was terminated with suggestions such as the preparation of materials suitable for research inquiry approach for other unıts of science and their effectiveness.
