Abstract (EN)

The foundation of psychoanalytic literary theory was laid by Sigmund Freud in the 19th century. Freud applied psychoanalysis methods primarily to artists. Later, when Freud's student started to apply psychoanalysis to literary works, psychoanalysis and literature also took place on the same common denominator. In psychoanalytic literature theory, the methods of analysis are directed from the work of art to the aut-hor and from the author to the work of art. The literary work can not be separated from its artist. Because a literary work carriess traces of the artist's life, thoughts and spirit world. Psychology has great importance in the formation of characters in literary texts. Psychoanalysis, which has subconscious and un conscious processes of human behaviour, has an important place in literature. Psychoanalysts are argued that behaviour of the human is often directed by the subconscious. Therefore, while making a psychoanalytic of a literary work, a relationship is established with the psychological structures of the heroes. After the first story book published in 2000, Yekta Kopan who started to make a name for himself in todays's Turkish literature is one of the authors, of postmodernist works. Yekta Kopan gives wide space to the individual's inner world and existence problems in his stories. Yekta Kopan is a writer who foceses on the psychology of the heroes in his stories are quite suitable for psychoanalytic analysis. Yekta Kopan's stories were studied from the aspectcs subconscious, unconscious, stream of of consciousness, internal monologue, personality disorders, sexuality, alienation, loneliness, psychic states, suicide and murder, Oedipus komplex.
