Abstract (EN)
The increase in eating attitude disorders and the differentiation of working styles in organizations are phenomena that have attracted attention in the academic community in recent years and have increased in research. However, the relationships between eating attitude disorders and working styles have not been examined. This study investigated whether eating attitudes have a significant effect on employee performance and, if there is a significant effect, whether working styles have a moderating effect on this effect. The study also examined whether the eating attitudes of employees and employee performance differ according to factors such as gender, age, marital status, education level, monthly income level, professional experience, position in the company and working style. Quantitative research methods and a relational screening model were used to conduct the study. The data of the study were collected online from 564 employees working in different sectors and different positions in Turkey using a questionnaire form consisting of a personal information form, eating attitudes scale and performance scale. The study concluded that the eating attitudes of employees do not have a significant effect on their working performance. It was determined that the working styles of employees, such as office, home and hybrid, do not have a moderating effect on the effect of eating attitudes on their working performance. In addition, there was no significant difference in the eating attitudes of those working from the office, from home or as a hybrid, and there was no significant difference in the work performances of those working from the office, from home or as a hybrid. While the eating attitudes of the employees did not differ significantly according to age, monthly income, sector experience and position in the company, they differed significantly according to gender, marital status and level of education. It was determined that the self-performance evaluation levels of the employees differed significantly according to all demographic variables except gender.
