New media art: Technology-art association

During the history of mankind, technology and art always interact with each other. This interaction is increasing day by day. It is possible to understand the technology's effects in our daily life. At the end of the 20th century, new media and digital communications technology presents new understandings to comprehend the external world. This investigation is an evaluation of individual's understanding of reality with technology and how affecting this on the art's nature. In this sense, this investigation tries to understand the New Media Art with society's digitalization, culture's media perception, influences of technological improvements on art and even on whole world. In this thesis, a combination of general context technology-of-the-art new media art field cultural society and how it affects the other art fields. How to works of the artists of these effects is reflected in the artists and thinkers are considered in the light of the theoretical texts. In this study, the art of community change, technology new media-art is rooted in changes and its relationship to art reflections to be resources to information about the study.
