Abstract (EN)
In this study, the critical point of view of two types of media usage habits known as traditional and new media, its effect on society, the relationship between the two media and the status of old and current technologies since the invention of television are investigated. Since the study consists of a newly discovered and researched topic, it has been examined by literature review and descriptive analysis method in order to reveal the interaction of television broadcasting in the new media environment. In the first part of this thesis, the transition from traditional media to social media, the processes of development of television broadcasting in the second part and the interaction of new media and television broadcasting, which is the main subject, are examined. In the present age, the effect of traditional television broadcasting on the audience is diminished due to the fact that a large number of television broadcasters provide services. Therefore, in this study, the interaction of social media platforms with users, the extent of coverage of television broadcasting in the social media environment and the relationship between the new media and television were determined
