Abstract (EN)
The field of forensic science is a complex science that includes many branches of science. It processes all kinds of findings that will be useful for the solution of crime and criminal organization, turns it into evidence and ensures that justice is carried out correctly. Forensic science often makes use of the branches of science involved in the resolution and interpretation of the plot. Forensic Anthropology, which is included in these disciplines; It is a branch of science that makes identification studies on the skeleton or soft tissue obtained from the crime scene, which may be the subject of crime. Identification and identification is the turning point that can unravel the plot. The definition of the individual reveals how and in what way the event happened, and what the characteristics of the individual are. In identification studies; sex determination, height estimation, age estimation, determination of ethnic origin are the parameters applied. Recently, re-facing studies have taken their place in the field of identification in the scientific world. The re-facing technique allows the individual to depict the face before death. Refacing techniques can be two-dimensional or three-dimensional. three-dimensional techniques; The American Method is classified as the Russian Method and the Combined Method. Each method performs re-facing studies on different points within itself. In the developing and progressive process, these techniques were transferred to the computer environment and more accurate and reliable results were obtained with mathematical variables and programming. Reconstruction technique constitutes an indispensable place in the solution of forensic investigations.
