Abstract (EN)
The objective of this research is to determine the issues caused by administration of hospitals with neonatal intensive care units; development of alternative solutions and analyzing the effects of findings from administration on management and organization.In this regard; in the city of İstanbul from the neonatal intensive care units of hospitals of Haseki Eğitim ve Araşırma Hastanesi, Bakırköy Sadi Konuk Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Okmeydanı Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi and private hospitals, 137 employees were polled and 10 managers were interviewed.The answers to the poll were evaluated after they were transferred to electronic medium by creating a database with the SPSS 15.0 program. In the evaluation of the answers to the poll, percentage and frequency definitive statistical methods were used. Depending on whether the employer organization is a private or public the Chi Square Analysis is used for the comparison of ratios of answers.As a conclusion to the research; hospitals having neonatal intensive care units face many problems and the most important cause of this is the unclear definitions of responsibilities. As a solution to the problem, it is proposed that individuals with medicine background should not be given administrative responsibilities, but instead, people with education in medical administration be given those responsibilities, and clarifying the descriptions of the tasks of personnel of hospitals.
