Abstract (EN)
Countries aim to develop reflected the deep relationship maths and daily life tomathmatics cirriculum,our country ,related these current developments, led to newinnovations to mathmatichs curriculum.The aim of this research is DefineTeachers?Problems in Applying Process of New Mathematics Curriculum whichstarted to apply in the educational year of 2007-2008.The sample of the research collected 6th grade mathematic teachers working inprimary schools of center town of SAKARYA in 2006?2007 education year. Aquestionnaire was used to determine opinions of teachers. To analyse the collecteddata SPSS 15 programme was used.According to the results of the research , teachers declined that common opinionsabout the new curriculum were positive but they encountered some problems inpractice.Results of this reseach indicates that the most common problems teachers encounterin practice are the too inadquate lesson durations for preparation and appliyingprocess of new curriculum , too crowded classes, insufficent infrastructers andmaterials at schools which mainly used in new curriculum, as they are so unfamiliarwith new curriculum, school management and parents don?t give enough support toteachers, the amount of measurement and evaluation activities are too much to apply.
