In this dissertation, it is aimed to; determine motivation factors which are important for the health personel, determine satisfactions levels of motivation factors in today?s working enviroment, to create a source for health managers about the importance of motivation of health personnel.Nowadays, especially with the impact of the increasing number of the companies which are using labour intensive technology, human factor has become more important and got a vital role in production. Success of a company is associated with the success of employees. That is why, managers of the labour intensive enterprises are looking for the effective human reseource management strategies and the motivation is one of most important ones. Medical establishments are based on man power and therefore it is one of the most labour intensive sectors. Therefore, success of medical establishments are depends on the success of their health personnel.This research has made on the all health personnel who are working at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Head of Health and Social Services Directorate of Health and Hygiene. 282 personnel out of 427 have attended this research.Key Words: Motivation, motivation theories, motivation tools, health personnel
