Investigation of the effects of different potassium dose applications on yield and quality in local and breeding wheat culti̇vars

Abstract (EN)

In this study, potassium sulfate was used as a source of potassium. In the study, 4 different doses of potassium; Control (0), 20, 30 and 40 g / pot pure K application was appered. The experiment was conducted in three replications. In this research, 3 local durum wheat head varieties (Sorgül, Bağacak and Aşure) and 2 breeding varieties (Bayraktar and Cemre) were used as materials. In the experiment, agricultural characters (plant height, spike length, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, plant grain yield, thousand grain weight, hectolitre weight), quality characteristics (protein ratio, gluten ratio) were examined. In the research, average plant height was 76.33 cm in local varieties and 86.54 cm in breeding varieties; Thousand grain weight was found to be 21.46 g in local varieties and 45.75 g in breeding varieties. The average number of grains per spike in the local varieties 11.90, 12.50 average of breeding varieties; potted seed yield of local cultivars average 178.96 g / pot, 139.55 g / pot in breeding varieties; spike length averages 9.22 cm in local varieties, 9.42 cm in breeding varieties; the average grain weight per spike 2.64 g in local varieties, 2.97 g breeding varieties; The average of plant grain yield was found to be 2.7 g in local varieties and 1.96 g in breeding varieties. In the study, average plant length was calculated as 78.37 cm, 80.74 cm, K2: 83.30 cm and K3: 79.23 cm in K1 pots. It was determined that K0 was 26.57 g, K1: 17.34 g, K2: 23.44 g, K3: 25.19 g in terms of thousand grain weight. K applications in terms of seed yield; K0: 113.72 g, K1: 97.08 g, K2: 99.90 g and K3: 87.83 g.
