Urban transformation in local governments: The case of Bursa Yıldırım district

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the effects of urban transformation practices on transformation practices in local governments. Urban transformation is not a concept that addresses a single area or subject. The concept of urban transformation is a concept that contains many issues. Urban transformation has an impact in many social, legal and economic areas. The fact that individuals living in the area where urban transformation will be implemented have to live in a structure they are not accustomed to as a result of the transformation expresses the social dimension of urban transformation. Finally, the urban transformation practices and their effects in Bursa Yıldırım District are analyzed.
