Provided by local governments individuals using sports services the service they perceived investigation of quality (Example of Tekirdağ province)

The main purpose of this research is to examine the service quality perceived by individuals who benefit from sports services provided by local governments. The population of the study, which was conducted according to the relational screening model in order to reveal the opinions of the individuals on the sports services of the municipalities, consists of individuals using the sports facilities belonging to the municipality of Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ province, while the sample group consists of a total of 902 participants, 379 female and 523 male, selected from the same population. As data collection tools, the questionnaire entitled "Determination of Satisfaction Levels of the Perceived Service Quality of the Individuals Benefiting from Sports Services" was used based on the personal information form and the questionnaire form "expectations of people from municipalities in terms of sports services" consisting of a total of 26 questions developed by Çoban (2002) which was restructured into a questionnaire consisting of a total of 12 questions with 7 items in the 5-point Likert-scale and 5 items as closed-ended questions. Moreover, chi-square test was employed for frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and in order to find out whether individuals or objects in categorical variable levels differ significantly. According to the results of the analysis, there was a significant difference among the participants regarding gender variable, education status variable, and the frequency of doing sports variable in terms of the Perceived Service Quality Satisfaction Levels of Individuals Benefiting from Sports Services and Opinions of the People Benefiting from Sports Services on Sports Services of Municipalities.
