Artistic service quality of local governments measurement of citizens satisfaction: The case of Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality Art Academy

Today, social municipality activities that come to the agenda in the political and political understanding in Turkey draw attention. In order to have a social municipality understanding and benefit from its benefits, many municipalities are involved in structuring in the cultural and artistic fields. In today's world, where individuals are in search of new social and economic aspects, some gaps have arisen for the citizen who wants to be involved in cultural and artistic activities. One of them is the cultural and artistic training given by the municipalities. As a result of the literature review, no article or thesis was found on the provision of cultural and artistic education by municipalities and the investigation of the effect of this education on citizens. With this thesis, which will be the first in the literature, a gap in the scientific literature will be filled and it will be clarified whether it is necessary to expand or increase the quality of cultural and artistic education activities that are not widely used by local municipalities. While the cultural and artistic activities of the metropolitan and district municipalities meet the socialization needs of the citizens, on the other hand, they have the status of a new communication channel for the communication that must be maintained with the publics for the municipalities. In this study, the perspective of the individuals who are educated in the art academy, where the cultural and artistic activities offered by the Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate as a service, to the local municipality and the satisfaction of the service they receive are examined. As a result of the study, it will be investigated to what extent the cultural and social needs of the citizens are expected to be met by the municipality and to what extent the activities of the municipalities are effective on the citizens in the context of culture and art communication. As a result of the research, it will be revealed as a measurable value whether the cultural and artistic education activities carried out by the municipalities increase the sympathy of the citizens towards the municipalities. In this study, which is assumed that the consumption level of cultural and artistic activities of citizens in Turkey is quite low, culture and art education centers operating by local municipalities will be examined and cultural and artistic activities offered by public institutions as a service to citizens will be discussed. In this way, the value of the use of this unique area, which has not been examined before, will be revealed and will set an example for other municipalities.
