Adaptation an electronic sprayer controller to a domestic field sprayer and determination of its performance

In order to determine the effectiveness of the control unit inthe field conditions, it was tested under 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 L/ha applicationrates, and for these results te deviation rates of desired application rates arecalculated. In addition, the changes in application rate and in speed of the system aremeasured in every 20 m distances and during spraying the changes in applivation rateand in speed were calculated.According to results, sprayer control unit tested was performed a variationin desired application rate with a range of ± 10%, if the worn sigs of control unit areconcerned. The efficiency of the control unit was unacceptable level, if the signs arenot concerned. According to these results, control unit can save chemicals when it isadapted to a home product field sprayer.Key Words: Sprayer Controller, Application Rate, System PerformanceII
