Euthanasia that is the one of the main ethic subject of medical and the same time the most disscussed the mean of euthanasia " good death" ; is defined that ensure death to incurable patients and patients that suffers so much , By his own request or his/her relatives request , under supervision of doctor .This research aimed that determine the ideas of personals who worked before and working in the intensive care unit , about euthanasia for patients who are in terminal period.The source of research consist of 62 people who worked in insentive care unit at the Duzce Atatürk State Hospital.Used Questionaries' question form to ensure the ideas of doctor , nurse , midwife and health technicans about death and euthanasia , to collect of data.%37.1 of health care workers argued to giving care to patients who are in terminal period , but the %62.9 of these workers found that it is not necessary .When examined the practice of death in the studentscity ; %66.7 of physicans , %80 of nurses , %61 of midewifes are found insufficient.%50 of physicans , %37 of nurses confirmed euthanasia . When examine the results , it is determined that %100 of physicans and %72.7 of nurses didnt confirm euthanasia because of beliefs need .In conclusion , according to the different perspectives ,it is evaluated , who should decide to euthanasia , qualification of person who decide , is euthanasia a crime or a right .Currently we should take a look the situation of ethanasia that we have right now and measures that has to be taken when euthanasia is used not proper and should be considered the qualification of persons who want to have euthanasia and the qualification (psychological, social, economic, cultural, ethical) of relatives and suggestions were given about the results of research.
