Abstract (EN)
Income inequality and poverty are among the main problems of countries. Considering that economic growth is at theforefront of each country's main macro economicgoals, determining how income inequality and poverty affect economic growth is an important issue in determining the policies to be implemented. In this context, the aim of the study is to examine the relationship between income inequality, poverty and economic growth in OECD countries with the data containing the 2004-2019 periodusing the Fixed-effectDriscoll-Kraay estimator. The empirical findings show that income inequality and poverty have a negative effect on economic growth.
