An analysis on literature in Yön magazine (1961-1967)

The first issue of the Yön magazine was published at 20th December 1961. After its 77. issue of 5th June 1963 Prof. Bahri Savcı's article in one of his books was closed on the grounds that it was published. The magazine, that continued to be published again on 25th September 1964.The magazine ended its publication life with its 222. issue dated 30th June 1967. The magazine, which was an important political publication of the 1960s., is rich in literary texts. Besides literary genres in the magazine, subjects such as socialist justification art and İkinci Yeni poetry come to the fore in different texts. The study consists of an introduction part and two additional parts. At the introduction, it is informed about the general features of Yön magazine and its art page. At the first part, the observation of the literary texts of the magazine such as poem, story, essay, critical review has been done. At the second part, the annotated index of the articles that have been written by literati was included with the literary texts of the magazine. It is possible to see so many important names of Turkish Literature in the Yön magazine. Besides that, it is also possible to see some subjects like arguments and promotions about literary genre, the articles related to socialist art, censor of books and arrestment of writers. At the study that named as "An Analysis on Literature in Yön Magazine (1961-1967)", the articles of the Yön magazine has been observed.
