Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between school administrators' levels of work engagement, organizational identification and psychological resilience. Relational screening model was used in the research. The population consists of 309 school administrators working in public preschool, primary school, secondary school and high school levels in Trabzon in the 2022-2023 academic year. Demographic Information Form, Work Engagement Scale, Organizational Identification Scale and Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults were used as data collection tools. The data obtained from the research were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) package program. The results show that there is a significant relationship between work engagement, organizational identification and psychological resilience. A moderately positive and significant relationship was found between work engagement and organizational identification. A weakly positive and significant relationship was found between work engagement and psychological resilience. It has been observed that organizational identification and psychological resilience significantly predict work engagement. School administrators' work engagement does not show a statistically significant difference in terms of their gender. Managers show more passion for their work than assistant managers. The school administrators education does not change their level of work engagement. However, it appears that work engagement levels vary depending on tenure. According to the LSD test results, the job engagement levels of school administrators who have been working for 11 years or more are higher than those of managers who have been working for 0-5 years and 6-10 years. By providing continuous training and personal development opportunities to school administrators, they can be enabled to show more commitment to their jobs. By helping to reduce stress and increase work passion and motivation, a healthy and supportive work environment can be provided.
