Özet (EN)

Today, it is important to investigate various methods and materials to increase the strength and durability of concrete. Mineral additives with pozzolanic properties are the most effective among these materials. Mineral additives has been used for a long time to increase compressive strength and durability of the concrete. In addition to mineral additives, high strength concrete (HSC) can be obtained by using chemical additives and reducing the water / binder ratio. Due to the high strength and durability of highstrength concrete, its usage and application areas are expanding over time. In this thesis; in high strength concrete; The effect of water / binder ratio and chemical additive ratio relationship on strength and workability was investigated. HSC series were produced by using silica fume with high pozzolanic activity as mineral additive and andesite aggregate with high strength as aggregate. Unlike normal concrete, water / binder (W/B) ratio is reduced to 20% to provide high strength. In concrete with low (W/B) ratio, workability has been provided by chemical additives. In this study (WB) ratio was 20%-30%, silica fume content was 5%-20% and super plasticizer chemical additive rate was 2%-3%. Thus, different HSC series were obtained. Fresh and hardened properties of all these series were investigated. In the result of this study; It has been observed that the use of superplasticizing chemical additives can make the concrete of low workability flowable. It has been found that if the amount of silica fume is adjusted well, it has a positive effect on the compressive strength of the concrete. The compressive strength of 400-dose samples increased to 91 MPa and the compressive strength of 600-dose samples increased to 96 MPa.
