Abstract (EN)
In this study, the paste on the positive plate prepared with lead oxide produced in lead acid batteries were investigated the performance effects, morphological (SEM) and surface area (BET). The lead oxide ratios were prepared as a mixture of 25% Pb-75% PB (A sample), 30% Pb-70% PbO (B sample). In the process of mixing the dough, the dough was prepared and rolled out on positive grids, and the plates were subjected to hardening. SEM and BET analyses were performed on the plates after the curing process. Plate morphological structures were examined in SEM images and surface areas were compared in BET analysis. Since 3BS structures have a higher charge acceptance rate than 4BS structures, it has been observed that the current supplied to 4BS batteries increases the reaction temperature without affecting the conversion in the reaction. In the BET analysis, it was seen that the BET analysis of the A-rated plate came to 1.388 m2/g and the BET analysis of the B-rated plate came to 0.9260 m2/g. In this case, it was observed that the surface area of A-rated samples was formed more than B. The prepared batteries are brought to full charge under equal conditions in the laboratory. Capacity, leading, cycle and charge acceptance tests were carried out in the electrical test laboratory taking into account the TS EN 50342-1 standard. When the evaluations were made according to the results obtained, it was seen that sample A was 12% more effective in the first charge efficiency than sample B. This was found to be 67% more efficient in the charge acceptance tests and 6.5% more efficient in the cycle tests of the A sample
