INVESTIGATE OPINION OF UNIVERSITY TEACHING STAFFSAND STUDENTS ON HIGHER INSTRUCTION TOWARDS STUDENTAMNESTY FACT. EXAMPLE OF DİCLE UNIVERSITYThe purpose of this investigation is to determine opinion of university teaching staffand students of Dicle University towards student amnesty.The population of the study consists of the students attending Dicle University, ZiyaGökalp Education Faculty, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science andLetters, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Engineering andArchitecture, Diyarbakır Vocational School and working university teaching staff in thesefaculties.The sample of the study consists of 903 students and 83 university teaching staff whowere present on the week of the data collection instrument. The data that were collected forthe study have been analyzed with the SPSS statistical package. T-testi and one-way test wasused in analyse and the commentary of data. Significance level was taken as 0.05.The research was limited to the university teaching staff and students in DicleUniversity. The data collection instrument that had been used in research was improved byresearcher. This data collection instrument was used to ask opinions of university teachingstaff and students of Dicle University towards student amnesty. To remove the deficienciesabout student amnesties some offers that will guide concerning has been developed.Findings of research show significant difference at level p<0.05 among students anduniversity teaching staff opinions towards student amnesty according to benifit appliedstudent amnesty on their families and relatives .Our higher education institutions have not reached the desired level in terms ofprivatization and civilizing target on economic. administrative and financial matters. TurkishHigher Education has also been shaped each term according to political, and culturalcircumstances prevailing in the country.Universities undertake an important task in the development and progress of societiesIt is necessary to include contemporary university understanding into administrative academicand financial fields of Turkish Higher Education.
