Özet (EN)

Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) have become obligatory in the conditions that input voltage change constantly, high switching frequency, the circuit size and efficiency are important. In SMPS, high efficiency and high power density has been provided with increasing of switching frequency. However, switching losses, and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) have been also increased with rising of switching frequency. These disadvantages have been eliminated by using Soft Switching (SS) techniques obtained with snubber cells.In this thesis, SMPS and circuit topologies used in these sources have been mentioned, basic information has been given about soft switching techniques, design and implementation of a soft-switched full-bridge power supply circuit has been realized. In the experimental studies, by creating dead time between power switches and working across, high frequencies which are the basis of the soft-switching have been reached. Thus, more uniform output of system has been obtained. In addition, it has been observed that output rectifier diodes have been exposed to parasitic oscillations. When the obtained experimental results are evaluated, it is considered for the control of SMPS that the effectiveness of the circuit can be increased by using Microprocessor, microcontroller, DSP, etc.Key Words: SMPS, Soft Switching, Full-Bridge, Switching Frequency.
