Abstract (EN)
There are many fields, socially foremost, that requires man power . Some of these actions can't be done because of the necessity of extreme power or some disorders. In order to solve such problems entirely or partially, powered exoskeletons have been shown up.Lower extremity exoskeleton systems are just one of the kind of powered exoskeleton systems. The main purpose of designing is normalizing the quality of life of patients who have difficulties with performing simple actions in their lifes and make that system usable in rehabilitation are also considered. Therefore, such a system also can provide power to people who struggle with performing an action with their legs because of lack of power. In this study, a prototype of lower extremity exoskeleton system with 5000 Series Aluminum frame which is studied in 110M063 numbered TUBITAK Project, have been discussed in terms of optimization of weight and strength in order to improve the current design. Analyses and virtual gait simulations have been performed in SolidWorks 2013 with data that obtained from 110M063 numbered TUBITAK ort hi and Dokuz Eylul University Medical Faculty, due to get the required torque values for joints and the power consumption values, which can be used for motor selection in next study. A foresight model has designed in order to create a basis for future work . Virtual gait simulations and critical state analyses has also carried out ort his model. Finaly both model are compared with each other and also compared with the former system and other worldwide studies. A part of study has been presented in a panel discussion named Mekatro 15 in Yıldız Technical University.
