Abstract (EN)

Yusuf Efendizâde el-Âmâsî is an Ottoman scholar who stands out in the fields of hadith, tafsir and recitation. Hicrî XII. Yusuf Efendizâde, who lived in the 19th century, was one of the scientists who could be considered an authority on Islamic sciences at that time. He is a versatile scientist who wrote works in the fields of hadith, tafsir, recitation and logic, and also worked on calligraphy. Along with these sciences, Yusuf Efendizâde also has a say in the science of recitation. The works he wrote about recitation are generally in the form of treatises. In addition, he also wrote a work called el-İ'tilâf fî Vücûhi'l-İhtilâf in this field. This work deals with the differences in recitations that focus on certain verses according to the composition of the Mushaf, rather than in the form of titles within the framework of procedural topics in other recitation sources. For this reason, in our study, it is aimed to include the life of Yusuf Efendizâde, his scientific personality and the introduction of his work called el-İ'tilâf fî Vücûhi'l-İhtilâf, and to systematically discuss the transferred aspects of recitation under the headings of usûl and ferşu'l-Hurûf, and to reveal with examples the way of benefiting from the science of recitation. Thus, based on the findings obtained, the method and style of handling the recitation aspects in el-İ'tilâf fî Vücûhi'l-İhtilâf and the place and importance of the work in the science of recitation will be revealed through analysis and synthesis.
