Abstract (EN)

This thesis examines the relationship between xenophobia and bullying, two common social problems that often cross. In the study, xenophobia and bullying inflicted or exposed to Turkish or foreign university students studying in Turkey were investigated. In the online study, students from various provinces of Turkey were presented with the Xenophobia Scale and the Victims of Peer Bullying Scale and their responses were analysed. According to the findings, it is found that Turkish students developed more xenophobia than foreign students. Similarly, it is concluded that Turkish students demonstrate more bullying than foreign students and foreign students are more exposed to bullying than Turkish students. A significant correlation is found between the xenophobia levels of Turkish students and the exposure of foreign students to bullying, between the xenophobia levels of Turkish students and their bullying practices, and between the bullying of Turkish students and victimisation of foreign students. The findings of the study are compared with the data obtained from the studies in the literature, the importance and limitations of the study are evaluated, and suggestions for future studies on xenophobia and xenophobic bullying in Turkey are presented. Keywords: Xenophobia, Bullying, Peer Bullying, Level, University Students in Turkey.
