Zonguldak media history (1923-2007)

In the modern world, the media is accepted as a fourth power after legislation, administration and jurisdiction and it keeps on this characteristic. In addition to this, the local media is the combination of all organs which instruct the society in different parts of the country.At the adventure of the local media from the Otoman Empire to today, political and social realities of country have influences. Besides of these influences, the local characteristics effect qualities and quantities of the media organs directly and bring some characteristics relating to themselves.The media of Zonguldak has started before the declaration of the Republic and develops with the Republic. Zonguldak and the Zonguldak?s Media have some special characteristics because of being a industrial city.
