Abstract (EN)
The Sheria Registers are the primary sources of the Ottoman state and play an important role in enlightening the political, administrative and social history of the cities. Without examining the Sheria Registers, it is not possible to reach complete and accurate information about the history of the Ottoman Empire cities. As it is known, Sheria Registers are important documents in which diplomatic correspondence between the center and the provinces is kept. Based on this fact, in this thesis that covers the years H.1029-1030 / M.1619-1621 and named Transcription and Evaluation of Ayıntȃb Sheria Registry In the light of diplomatic correspondence, we aimed to contribute to the enlightenment of Gaziantep city history and to guide researchers in studies on city history.
