This study is the evaluation of the 1909 Adana Events, which occurred due to various dynamics, within the historical context. It has been observed that the relations between Muslims and Armenians in the Adana region, which experienced great changes under the influence of the political and socio-economic developments in the 19th century, were affected by these changes. In this context, considering that the 1909 Adana Events were the result of a long historical process and various dynamics, especially the II. Examining how the conflicts experienced after the proclamation of the Second Constitutional Monarchy affected the course of events constituted the main axis of this study. While making this study, Ottoman, British and American Board Commission archive materials, as well as newspaper archives, reports, memoirs and testimonies of the period were used. Adana, which has fertile land in the historical process, has made great progress in terms of agriculture, especially depending on the internal and external developments in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. In the process of the region becoming an economic power, the Ottoman administrators significantly affected the social change in the region with the policies they implemented. Undoubtedly, there were important changes in the disposition of the Ottoman rulers regarding the region, by taking the nomadic tribes under control, breaking their customary structure and putting the Muslim immigrants coming from outside to a settled life. At the end of the 1870s, the fact that the Armenian Question became a big problem for the Ottoman administrators affected many regions as well as had significant effects on the Adana province. From this date we have stated, The problems caused by the Armenian committee members in the process until the declaration of the II. Constitutional Monarchy, the sultan of the period. It greatly influenced Abdulhamid's local policies. II. Abdulhamid's policy of balance in the places where Armenians live in the majority has deepened the social crisis over time. The social crisis that continued after the proclamation of the II. Constitutional Monarchy was resolved temporarily, but the social tension in Adana province reached its peak over time, depending on the new developments and changing dynamics that occurred in this process. In the study; It has been shown that the issue has different dimensions by handling the 1909 Adana Events, which were caused by many factors such as the problems caused by the changing dynamics in the region in the new period, the significant support of the opposition to the Constitution, the increasing panic and anxiety between Muslims and Armenians, the issue of economic interest, in a historical process.
