Public spendings and investments in Van Lake Basin between 1946 and 1960

Public spendings and investments are physical infrastructure investments by state to make efficient economic activities like roads, bridges and dams which requires too much capital. Aim of those investments are to expand economic growth and to generalize efficient economic activities in the country. For this reason with the proclamation of the Republic, governments had tried to carry the country to the current level of civilizations and in this context they had given importance to the public investments. Considering the economic conditions of the country, it wasn't impossible to make all the investments come true. Thus it was tried to realize the investments with the available facilities and according to importance. Especially in 2nd World War between 1939 and 1945, the investments come to a halt but gain speed after the war. After Democrat Party's coming to power, improvements in economy had seen and thus public investments became to increase. With the context of generalizing the resource allocation, it's tried to determine public works, security, education, health, agriculture, livestock, mining and energy which were made in multiparty period. Even though achieving successes in security, highway, airport, health, agriculture, livestock, mining and energy of those departments, there were no success in Van Lake Business, railway and education (except primary education). This study aims to handle public spendings in Van Lake Basin between 1946 and 1960 and reflection of them. In this context, it's tried to determine the investments on public works, security, education, health, agriculture, livestock, mining and energy. After literature review identified written and digital resources classified by fields and findings handled chronologically.
