Abstract (EN)

In this study, science fiction novels published in Turkish literature after 1980 are handled. Information was given about the emergence and development of science fiction in Turkish literature, and the development process of science fiction in Turkish literature after 1980 was tried to be revealed by evaluating the published science fiction novels in terms of sub-genres. The study consists of 5 chapters. After the Introduction in the first section; In the second chapter, the definition, history and relation of science fiction with other genres are examined. In section 3, assessment is made of the science fiction novel published in Turkey after 1980. In the fourth chapter, an index prepared for the evaluated novels is given. The last part of the study was the result. In chapter 1, the subject, scope, purpose, limits, assumptions of the study, the basic concepts and method of the research were specified, and explanations about the study were made. In the second chapter, after the definition of science fiction is made, information is given about the development of science fiction in world and Turkish literature. Then, terms related to science fiction were given and the relationship of science fiction with other genres and fields was tried to be transferred. In the third chapter, science fiction novels published after 1980 are classified and analyzed according to their genres. In chapter 4, there is an index for science fiction novels. The index part is given in detail both chronologically and according to the artist and the name of the work, and it is aimed to reach the novels published in that period easily. In the Conclusion, which is the 5th and last part of the study, science fiction has been evaluated in the light of the obtained data.
