The development of Turkish textile clothing industry between the years 2010 – 2015 and effects of this development in women's fashion

Textile sector in Turkey, having developed in time, has turned into its current status. It is possible to claim that Turkish textile sector is significant in its region and Europe thanks to its economic growth, which has a considerable impact on the development of Turkish industry that depends on agriculture. The products of this sector can be classified in certain categories. That is, it gained an important position in Turkish exportation with its diverse production areas such as weaving, sewing, dressing, home textile, and dying. The aim of this study is to investigate the development of Turkish textile sector between 2010 and 2015, and examine its impact on female fashion. Generally speaking, while textile covers product diversification, fashion has a considerable impact on women with the rapidly changing creations. In general, the preparation process of creations starts at least two seasons in advance. Promotions of fabrics, designs, and accessories are presented to people's tastes with fashion fairs and runway shows. With the help of the created awareness, textile sector survives by mass production within the season. As a result of the economic growth achieved with development, textile sector in Turkey has become one of the key sectors of the country. Especially the density of its employment areas, the sector has been to keep itself awake and dynamic. The same awake and dynamic structure is most likely to continue in the future.
