Risk factors based on children in the kindergartens for 3-6 age group

After number 6331 Labour Health and Safety Law started to be applied in 2012, the prevent politics have been intended in order to not to be exposed of workers to Labour accidents and diseases. That is why lots of regulations have been published and applied. All the people like customer, like quest except workers in the working place have been taken into consideration as target group and according to the prevent politics risk analysis, emergency situation plans, trainings intended placed of Labour Health and Safety Culture, vocational qualifications trainings …. etc have been taken to agenda. Adult working environments have been targeted in theses law applicants. Although it s ignored, one of the most serious adult environment is kindergartens. When danger or risk class is checked, it is seen that the kindergartens are in low risk level. But there might be risks and dangers for the children in these places. Since they are children, it is not possible for them to realize the possible accidents, to prevent and also to know how to act in emergency situation. For this reasons in order to specify the risk factors for children except the workers, the check lists about children, the surveys about occupation problems with kindergarten teachers event investigations and risk analysis have been done in a few kindergartens in a different regions of Istanbul. So in these studies; • The most frequent accidents and their reasons have been struggled to identify • In order to make risk analysis, the check lists have been prepared and the possible risks-dangers have been struggled to identify • The surveys about occupation problems with the teacher angles have been done So the synthesis of problems from both student and teacher angle have been done. As a result; The reasons of the most seen children wounding and accidents whose ages are between 3 and 6, have been identified and the prevents have been identified. These studies have been compared with the surveys which were done against home accidents and check list- risk analysis results. Also these studies allow us to see how Labour safety culture is dominated in the kindergartens.
