Abstract (EN)
This study was applied to through the 60-72 month old children's problem solving skill Projective method, Draw a Person Picking Apples from a Tree (Person Picking an Apple From a Tree – PPAT) test. 60-72 month old 115 children attended Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mother Lap Children's Education Centers. The Problem Solving Skill Scale (PCI) was applied to the participating children through individual interviews and asked the children to draw a picture with the Draw a Person Collecting Apples from the Tree test. Quantitative data obtained from scales and qualitative data requuired as a result of the image test were analyzed in the study. Numerical data of the Draw a Person from a Tree test has been reached by the Art Therapy Scale of Formal Elements (Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale-FEATS). As a result of the study, it was found that children have a moderate correlation (r = 0,400, p< 0,001) Problem Solving Skill Scale (PSS) score, with the age of the child and father's age; Formal Items Art Therapy Scale (FEATS) scores have a significant relationship between the child's age and gender, while it was concluded that a statistically significant result could be reached on both scales according to the total income of the family, the number of siblings, the child's birth time before school, the duration of receiving education, the mother's age and the screen time of the child. In the Draw a Person Picking Apples from a Tree (PPAT) test, it was concluded that children draw tree, apple and person figures, add peripheral elements such as sun, grass and clouds to their drawings, mostly paintings consisting of multi-color. Draw a Person Picking Apples from a Tree (PPAT) test sheds light on other studies to be carried out in our country in evaluating problem solving skills with a projective method.
